The Swan River Trail has everything you could ask for in a nature trail. This wide gravel trail is perfect for hiking, running, dog-walking, and even biking. With plenty of picnic tables and comfortable shaded spots along the river, it’s easy to spend a whole afternoon enjoying the scenery, the water, and the company of your loved ones on this trail.

Beginning near the shores of Flathead Lake, the trail will take you up into the forest, giving you a better appreciation of how large the lake truly is as you reach the summit.
